Interview with "1008": A Root Beer Float with a Law Degree

We cracked open a cold one with 1008, our THC-infused root beer soda with 10mg of Delta-9 and the vibe of a legislative underdog who just got promoted to summer icon. Smooth, nostalgic, and slightly intoxicating in more ways than one, 1008 had a lot to say about flavor, freedom, and what it’s like being the best-dressed beverage in the cooler.

Q: So… 1008. That’s a very official-sounding name for a drink that tastes like a hug from a cream soda. 
I know - I sound like I should come with a gavel and a tie, but really, I’m all comfort and creamy vibes. Think root beer float. The kind you had as a kid, but now I come with 10mg of Delta-9 THC and no one yelling at you to use a coaster.

Q: Be honest. You taste like nostalgia on purpose, don’t you?
Absolutely! I was brewed to remind you of the diner booths, the clinking ice cream glasses, the moments when time slowed down. Vanilla, sassafras, wintergreen all wrapped up in a soft, rounded fizz. I’m a throwback with a modern edge. Like someone put roller skates on a law book and alley oop-ed through the capitol.

Q: And the THC? Can you tell our audience what the experience is like?
Smooth. Steady. Cozy. It creeps in like that second episode of a show you didn’t plan to binge. You’re not knocked out, but you’re definitely leaning back. I’m not trying to launch you into space. I’m trying to make the patio chair feel like a cloud.

I’m named after House Bill 1008, the law that legalized industrial hemp in South Dakota. So yeah, I’m kind of a big deal. I’m also a great time at parties and the reason someone’s currently smiling at their ceiling fan.
